Four Steps to the Home of Your Dreams
- Step 1: We Listen.
The
first meeting is our opportunity to get to know each other and for
us to learn about the home you have envisioned. We'll ask lots of
questions, share ideas and explore many possibilities. Have you already
decided where you want to build, and if so have you already purchased
a lot? If yes, that's great. If not, we'll help you find the property
with the unique characteristics that make it perfect for you and your
home design.- Do you already have house plans? If yes, we’ll begin to work out details. If not, we can help you find the plan that’s right for you or introduce you to a home designer we feel will share your tastes and understand your vision. Our belief is that by assisting our clients through each stage - from lot selection through the entire building process - we partner with them in fulfilling their wants, needs, and dreams.
- Step 2: You Make Decisions and We’ll Help.
With
blueprints in hand, it’s time to make decisions about flooring, wall
treatments, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and the colors that help
make your home distinctly yours. One of our most important goals is
to make the entire building experience comfortable and enjoyable for
you. Our design staff will assist you as much as you like with your
selections or we will coordinate with the designers of your choice.
Through our personal involvement in each step of the process you receive
the benefits of a cooperative effort on your behalf regarding lot
selection, home plans, personal tastes, and budget.
- Step 3: Building Begins.
At
this stage, you’ve already made your "personal taste" decisions, and
it’s time for construction to begin. We handle all permits and inspections,
and carefully schedule the myriad of details necessary to assure a
smooth and timely flow in the homebuilding process.- Our focus on working closely with our clients and having them make decisons early in the building process is very beneficial. You'll appreciate not having to make snap decisions. Materials can be ordered earlier to prevent delays. We can better schedule and coordinate our workflow, and you'll be able to move in sooner. We want you to be able to relax during construction as you watch your new home and each of your personal decisions come to fruition.
- You’re always welcome to visit your home as it is being built, and you can rest assured we’re paying close attention every step of the way. We know that sometimes people change their minds once building begins, and unlike some builders, we promise to make every effort to accommodate your requests. We never forget that it's your house and you direct the process.
- Step 4: Your New Home is Ready for You and Your Family.
Moving
in and getting settled in a new home is always an exciting time. We’ll
walk you through for a final inspection and gladly accept the responsibility
for making everything meet your expectations. We know your home will
provide many years of enjoyment, be a place to build fond memories,
